The exhibition has attracted 43 entries and is on show at the Ku-ring-gai Council Chambers, Gordon Library and St Ives Shopping Village.
Artists with a disability produce a fantastic range of wonderful artworks, and this has never been more evident than with the launch of a new exhibition in our area. Exploration was officially launched on Friday 3 December to mark the International Day of People with a Disability. The launch featured a video of some of the contributing artists discussing what art means to them.
Exploration is a collaboration between Ku-ring-gai Council and Sunnyfield Disability Services, Inala, Studio Artes, St Lucy’s School Wahroonga, Blue Apple Art, Unisson Disability Services, St Ives Shopping Village and ACL Disability Services
The exhibition can be viewed until 9 December at the Council Chambers and Gordon Library.
Between 13 December and 21 January 2022 Exploration will be showing at The Gallery in St Ives Shopping Village. The exhibition will also be available to view online until 22 January.
Please support our local artists with a disability. Many of the works shown at this year’s Exploration are being offered for sale. To view entries and find out more, visit www.krg.nsw.gov.au/explorationhttp://www.krg.nsw.gov.au/exploration
