Discover one of the hidden gems of Sydney’s North Shore. Eryldene is the former home of Professor E.G.Waterhouse and his family. The house was built and it’s garden created early last century and there you will find one of Australia’s most important collections of camellias. Professor Waterhouse was internationally recognised for his huge contribution to the “camellia world” and lived in the house until his death in 1977. The Eryldene Trust now opens the garden for events and tours.

Tickets include a tour with one of our informative guides and hear how the garden was created. Enjoy a home-made morning tea/coffee in the loggia. Absorb gardening tips from our volunteer gardeners and hear how we are adapting to a changing climate.

Garden tours are at 10.15 am so please arrive on time.
