St Ives Village Green will come alive on the evening of Friday 12 February with a delicious food market and lion dancers.

The food market is an addition to the Year of the Ox celebrations already taking place in Ku-ring-gai during February.

Between 4.30pm and 9.30pm an array of food trucks and food stalls will be at St Ives Village Green, with visitors able to sit outside and eat or pick up a tasty takeaway to take home.

Bring your picnic rug and relax under the lanterns whilst enjoying some delicious Asian cuisine and street food. There will be amusement rides on the Village Green to help keep children aged up to 12 years entertained.

There will also be a pop-up performance by lion dancers during the evening.

Other free activities for Lunar New Year include live calligraphy demonstrations at Gordon Library and dance performances from the Korean Dae Hahn Culture School.

Bookings are essential for some events due to COVID-19 restrictions, although no bookings are required for the food market. You will be required to sign into the market using a QR code.

St Ives Village Green is located at Memorial Avenue St Ives.
