After 2 years of COVID hibernation this much loved local event returns to Wahroonga Park!

The 8th annual Wahroonga Food & Wine Festival will return to Wahroonga Park on Sunday 30 October 2022, 11am – 5pm. For 2022 the team has carefully selected a wide range of exquisite wineries from NSW and around Australia. On the day you will be able to meet the winemakers and taste and buy their premium and award-winning wines. Taste over 130 wines from 30 wineries and enjoy an array of local produce and a huge selection of gourmet food stalls offering a variety of international and Australian cuisines.

Local winemakers from Savannah Estate, Macquariedale Organic Wines, Drayton’s Family Wines, Allande Winery, Pepper Tree Wines, Briar Ridge Vineyard, Elephant Mountain Wines, Petersons Wines, Handing Tree Wines, Elbourne Wines, Marvel Arch Wines, Grandis Wines, Mercer Wines, Iron Gate Estate, Wild Ren Wines, Hungerford Hill, and Tamburlaine Organic Wines are featured.

This year a new addition is the central Sparkling Bar, matched with the deliciously fresh Sydney Rock oysters served straight from oyster farmer from Signature Oysters accompanied by a signature spring cocktail – what a way to spend a beautiful spring day!

Small batch distillers are all the trend and this year the Wahroonga Food & Wine Festival features a great range including Mr Black, Kissofire Hunter Valley, Buffalo Vale Distillery and Small Mouth Vodka. Wine Selectors will be present again in Wahroonga Park and their expert wine educators will be hosting free 20-minute wine masterclasses throughout the day in their exclusive Wine Selectors tasting showcase cellar door.

There are also new delicious culinary cuisines this year with signature dishes from Crepe De France Pancakes, Piggy & Moo’s speciality Fried Chicken and Pork Belly Burgers, Berlin Bangers, 2 delicious Sofrito Paella, Asian Dumplings and Fish Cakes, original Turkish Gozleme, and an array of dessert food trucks. Enjoy a range of Hunter Valley Cheeses, Alexander Roastery coffee brews and Goose on the Loose gourmet foods. For dessert – Natural Pancakes and Chillatto Gelato will again present their range of refreshing premium gelatos.

Produce market stalls will line the flowerbeds and walkways offering a variety of products including Rylstone Olive Oils and Olives, Original Smoke & Spice Co, Cacaoette hard crafted organic chocolate, direct from the farm condiments by Tar 10, and Milnes of Mudgee, BC Jerky, puddings from Pudding Lane and more, so buy your shopping basket from the ‘The Market Basket Co’ and enjoy what the market has to offer.

For gift giving or just to adorn your home the Festival team have introduced an artisan producer alley, with beautiful scented candles by Chase Park, and much more with Urban Ledge, Love Shak, Palm Art boutique, hand crafted ceramics, and Jollie Gourmet pet treats.

The event is FREE, and all ages are welcome, including your furry friends on a leash. Bring your friends and family to enjoy the live music on the rotunda stage all day with performances by talented local school bands, contemporary musicians and entertainers.
