Sydney’s scariest Halloween experience, Halloscream, is returning to Luna Park for six frightful nights this October! Little boys and ghouls are not left out with Spooksville also promising fun events for the whole family.
Prepare for hair-raising horrors and spine-chilling thrills as Luna Park transforms into a spooky spectacle! The popular Halloscream event starts from October 23 and runs over six scare-filled nights. This year’s theme, Infinite Fear, will live up to its name with roaming zombies, pigs heads and psychotic prisoners to scare even the most hardened-Halloweener.
As the full moon rises, Halloscream will kick off at 6pm with a ‘Scaremony’ led by villain puppet master Mr Bowler.
You can then head to the three brand-new Scare Mazes that have crept their way back into the Big Top. Navigate your way through Outback Butcher where an evil landlord is looking for his next victim; DecayMart, an abandoned supermarket that’s been taken over by zombies, and Block 13, a rioting prison where the inmates are on the loose!
Be sure to also pay a visit to Luna Park’s historic-turned-haunted Coney Island that’s been transformed into a spine-tingling Lonely Doll Island!
Being COVID safe
Masks are mandatory attire in Halloscream mazes and must be worn at all times during this attraction. You can expect enhanced cleaning measures along with specific entry requirements including temperature and identity checks.
While dressing up for the occasion is encouraged, full-face make-up or coverings will not be permitted.

Kids Can Join the Fun at Luna Park’s Spooksville
Dance, sing, and laugh along with a fun pantomime. The werewolf, pumpkin and zombies have gone trick or treating, but the mischievous witch keeps stealing their lollies. There will be three shows per day at 11:00am, 12:30pm and 2:00pm, with Trick-or-Treat houses running 15 minutes after each show.
After the pantomime, pass by the Broken Doll House to get a treat from porcelain doll Betty who is sweet and friendly and a little bit silly.
Stroll on over to Lunabelle in her Halloween best, and finally, say hello to Alfred the monster who lives in the Big Blue House.
Spooksville will run on Saturdays and Sundays only (10:30am – 4pm) between 17th October and 1 November in Foyer Bar 2 (in the Big Top), accessible from the Tumble Bug stairs.
Spooksville entry is included in your Luna Park ticket. However, seating is limited and you will need to register on the day at Hungry Horse. The entry ticket to Luna Park (and therefore Spooksville) includes a Spooksville Pantomime, Unlimited Rides and Trick or Treat houses.
