“To be selected by the IIHS™ and have the ability to showcase both my business and my passion is such an honor”  Dimitra said, “It is an honor to be trusted with such a critical piece of the property sales process, and being recongnised in this publication is a testament to the fantastic vendors and agents we get to work with.”

Founder & Creative Director, Dimitra has extensive experience in styling and renovating property, spanning over 15 years both in Australia and abroad. Primarily servicing the Upper and Lower North Shore as well as the Northern Beaches Market, she has worked with local leading agencies such as Chadwick, LJ Hooker, OneAgency, McGrath and Di Jones. Dimitra’s down to earth approach puts the client at the centre of the process. Her meticulous attention to detail and enviable design vision has helped establish a name amongst locals, and now across Australia. .

Dimitra reflects on the types of properties in our local Ku-ring-gai area:

“There is no doubt that we are very spoilt here on the North Shore in terms of amazing properties, with a mix of the large Manor type homes and brand new modern, contemporary homes and apartments. The most common style we typically apply is Contemporary Luxe with subtle reference to Hamptons. However, when I am curating a space, I always take cues from the property itself and its surroundings as its important to ensure that there is a cohesive feel throughout.”

In the Property Stylists Australia 2020 showcase publication, Dimitra shares her Three Golden Rules of Styling which give a practical insight into the workings of the styling industry – but also into the generous and relatable nature of Dimitra herself.

Everyone loves a good tip or hack and as a Property Stylist I am always asked what’s the winning formula. If I had to give just one Golden Rule, it is to style in a way that creates an emotional connection. There are only a few seconds for a first impression to form, and when a house is styled in a way that it feels like a sanctuary from the moment you step in …well people just feel, at home”  Dimitra added.

While she’s working, Dimitra loves visiting local stores Avenue Luxe in Turramurra and Wahroonga and Tara Dennis Store in Wahroonga. And for a meal or a drink you’ll often find her at Goodfields Eatery in Lindfield and Kiplings Garage Bar in Turramurra.

“We love living in Ku-ringai. It has so much to offer with its beautiful scenery surrounded by trees, nature & clean air. I love going for long bush walks in the many beautiful local national parks and trails, right on our doorstep. It is also great to be so close to so many amazing  beaches, which means I can also go for beautiful coastal walks which is another one of my favourite past times. We have great schools, close to the city and with easy access to the beautiful North Coast! “
