If you’re ready for some fun family events, there are six fabulous ones coming up in the local area this month. There’s a Spring Fair, a family movie under the stars, live theatre for kids, a garden party and a night market with rides…

Ku-ring-gai Sculpture Trail

One of the most beautiful family events is currently on – the Ku-ring-gai Sculpture Trail celebrates sustainable art in the beautiful Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden. Visit the Wildflower Garden to see an array of recyclable sculptures made by members of the community and professional artists.

The sculpture trail guide and maps will be available digitally once at the venue so remember to bring your smart phone or tablets.

The sculptures will be on display until 3 October at the Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden, open daily from 9am – 4pm. We encourage everyone to go visit and check them out!

Roseville Public School Fair

Roseville Public School is hosting their Spring Fair on Saturday, 10th September (10am – 3pm) – one of the best family events in the area!

RPS Spring Fair looks to bring the greater Roseville, Lindfield and surrounding community together every 3 years. With 2 years of COVID restrictions, it has been an incredibly isolating time for many, so we expect this to be our biggest fair turnout in recent memory, with an expectation of roughly 2000 people to attend on the day.

There will be amusement rides, inflatable, petting zoo, live entertainment, market stalls, international foods stall and more…

Live Theatre at The Wildflower Garden

Another one to add to the list of fabulous family events at the Wildflower Garden! Come and picnic on the grass to enjoy two live theatre shows, Kylie’s Calamity and Tree Tales, performed by the Eaton Gorge Theatre Company. The engaging theatre style is particularly suitable for ages 3 to 8.

Kylie’s Calamity focuses on the dumping of waste in the bush. Join Ranger Joe and Kanga Kylie as they investigate the source of an illegal dumping site and work together with their bush friends, Goanna, an endangered Ground Parrot and Brown Snake, to clean up the bush and dispose of waste properly.

Tree Tales stars Bloss the Ghost Gum and Iron the Iron Bark Tree. This highly interactive performance invites the audience to get involved and act out parts of the play.
