Mark Sunday May 1 in your diaries for the return of the Lindfield Fun Run. A Rotary Club of Ku-ring-gai initiative, this much-loved annual event has been getting the community moving for over 25 years. And with so many community events cancelled over the past two years, it’s thrilling to be able to train for a great event so close to home.
All proceeds from the Lindfield Fun Run are donated to charity. KYDS – a free, local, and confidential counselling service for children and young people – is the major beneficiary of the 2022 event.
Around 1,300 participants are expected in this fabulous community event, and there are three courses to choose from:
- 10km course for serious runners
- 5km course
- 2km kids course
There will also be a teams event and a schools challenge to participate in. The course maps have changed somewhat this year due to works being carried out on Roseville Oval – see circuit routes below.
There are Covid-safe measures in place to ensure the health and safety of all participants, and after the run there will be awards, a sausage sizzle and a fantastic sense of camaraderie!
