The much-loved St Ives Show is returning this year with all the fun of a huge carnival – not only that it’s celebrating 100 years!

For two days on the third weekend of May you can be part of the centenary celebrations of the much-loved local funfair – The St Ives Show. Community members can enjoy the staple crowd favourites – such as wood-chopping, pony rides and live music, plus there’ll be some modern-day additions like the Jetpack Man!

Kids will love the amusement rides and carnival entertainment. They can also get up close to animals with the reptile display, petting zoo, rabbit show and more.

Once you’ve worked up an appetite, head over the to the local and international food trucks with an array of gourmet goodies to entice you. Who doesn’t love a piping hot donut fresh from the food truck?  Or enjoy a piping hot coffee in the new dining area.

Amazingly, the St Ives Show really hasn’t changed that much in 100 years! According to the St Ives Agricultural and Horticultural Show Society “The 1921 Show included a melon race, wood-chopping and sawing, side shows, a ploughing match, and a parade, along with exhibits of local produce.”

When: Saturday May 15 to Sunday May 16
