Drama Workshops for Primary Years, Marian Street Theatre for Young People

Create, develop and perform! Work with other young people to perform a play these school holidays.

Marian Street Theatre for Young People offers Kindergarten to Year 6 students ‘Make a Play’ workshops. These workshops run for a week and end with a short performance for family and friends.

This workshop gives young people skills for life: building confidence, learning to work with others and developing creative thinking. Workshops start with fun games teaching the fundamentals of performance. Students rehearse acting skills such as characterisation, how to build a story, vocal techniques, movement skills, stagecraft, and enjoy performing their work in a fun and safe environment.

Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden Bush Kids Activities

Get your young ones to step into nature at Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden at St Ives and enjoy the great outdoors with adventure-based play activities these spring school holidays. The Bush Kids program is suitable for children aged 6 to 12. Depending on the session you choose, your kids could be learning bush survival skills, bushcraft and camping and so much more. St Ives Treetops Adventure + Playground, St Ives

Families have a new experience to explore along the southern border of Ku-ring-gai National Park. St Ives is our newest Tree Ropes Course Park, hosting 95+ aerial obstacles and 10+ ziplines, all suspended between platforms to create a maze of activities in the treetops. Courses start at 1m for little climbers and jump up to 15 metres for bigger adventurers!

When you’re done there’s a spectacular new playground to explore as well! Perfect for spring school holidays!

Paint It Red Winter Festival, St Ives 

This family winter festival is a community event to remember, held at St Ives showground over two days in July.  It will feature a diverse food truck line-up, a huge market stall selection, as well as all your favourite carnival games and rides. There’s entertainment for everyone including face painting and fireworks, all for an entry fee of just $2. You can purchase wristbands for the rides at the event.

Indigenous Workshop, St Ives

Bring your children along to a special workshop that offers a hands on and immersive experience on Indigenous culture. The Didgeridoo master will perform with native animal sounds and stories through the didgeridoo. There will also be storytelling, artefacts, weaponry and bush survival. Best suited for kids between 8-12 years.

Camp Glasshouse, Artarmon

Join us for Camp Glasshouse these School Holidays!

Camp Glasshouse is a two-week event filled with fun and engaging activities for kids of all ages at The Glasshouse during school holidays. Activities include slime school, paint parties, magic shows, parachute games and more. Each activity requires pre-purchased tickets due to limited capacities.

The Messy Makers crew will be hosting Slime School, Arts & Crafts & Snow Globe Making where kids can learn how to make a range of items and get as messy as they want!

Pinot and Picasso will be hosting Paint Parties, where kids can let their creativity run wild and create their own masterpieces.

Story Squad will be bringing Magic & Mayhem to the camp, with interactive storytelling and plenty of surprises.

Culture Bites Mini Maestros

Monster Jump, The Entertainment Quarter Moore Park

Attention, adventure enthusiasts of all ages! Australia’s most thrilling inflatable obstacle course has arrived, and it’s ready to unleash a wave of excitement like never before! 😲 🙌 Come check out Monster Jump as the massive obstacle course bounces into the Entertainment Quarter in Sydney from 1st-16th July.
 U5’s are required to be accompanied by an adult. Tickets can be purchased at the door, availability dependent. We suggest booking online to avoid disappointment.

Tuff Nutterz, Centennial Park

The world’s biggest inflatable obstacle course is taking over Centennial Park these winter school holidays. There are 30 fun and challenging obstacles to complete in their brand new, 300m supersize maze. Giant slides, hanging rails, climbing walls, balance balls, you name it… All ages are welcome (parents included) and there’s a smaller obstacle course for the little ones. Four sessions run each day for 1:45 mins and bookings are strongly recommended to avoid disappointment.

Bondi Festival Ice Rink, Bondi Beach

Nothing says winter like a trip to the ice rink! The world-famous Bondi Festival Ice Rink will be open daily throughout the Bondi Festival and everyone is invited for a skate. You’ll get to glide across the ice (or shuffle if you’re a first-timer) – all whilst enjoying the best view in town. There are ice skates for all sizes and push-along penguins for the little ones.

Pittwater Winter School Holidays Ice Spectacular
